Excerpts from the chat:
John (Toledo, OH): Charlie!! Last week you said you did not know about Bowling Green as an at-large bid. I see they are still ranked, probably will move up a few spots this week, and into the AP Poll as well. 17 game winning streak, 25-2. How can they be a #12 seed. Basically what your saying is that if they don't win the MAC Championship, they will be out!
Charlie Creme: I've said this a million times but it still doesn't seem to hit home. The AP poll and the coaches poll have no baring on tourney selection. IRRELEVANT. 17 of BG's 25 wins are over teams outside of the top-150 in the RPI. Not good. The MAC is weak and that isn't BG's fault, but it's all we have to measure them on. A SOS of over 160 doesn't look good.
Glenn Washington, NJ: Any 1st round upset contenders out of the mid majors the big schools need to be aware of?
Charlie Creme: West KY, ODU, and La Tech
Eric, Tampa FL: For all of the bubble teams, what tournaments down the stretch should we be paying attention to? Are there any conference tournaments in particular that could result in a 1-bid conference becoming a 2-bid conference?
Charlie Creme: Yes, watch the Sun Belt, MAC, WAC, MVC, and America East. Those are all possibilities.
Erin (Purdue): The MAC!!! WAC!!! Who is any good in the MAC
Charlie Creme: If Bowling Green loses they could stil grab an at-large. Same for La Tech.

Is this fan serious????? Is this the same PurDIDN'T against our football team and basketball teams in the past. Talk about having on the Purdue colored glasses on.

On the OSU women's broadcast last night (they won the Big Ten tournament, beating Purdue), the play-by-play team mentioned several times that Indiana was very much a bubble team.
At one point, they mentioned Indiana would be sweating even more if the regular season champion of the MAC or Horizon did not win their tournament. Bowling Green wasn't specifically mentioned, though.
