It is not my intention to do away with government. It is rather to make it work - work with us, not over us; stand by our side, not ride on our back. Government can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it. ~Ronald Reagan

Bleeding, there have been only a very small number of people that have suggested that DD has manipulated the fans or has bad character. I don't think there are many people out here at all that think that way at all about DD. Maybe those posts just stand out in your mind and are coloring your perceptions. They stand out in my mind because they seemed rather kooky.Bleeding Orange wrote:Have you guys just totally missed all of the conversations about Dakich's "manipulation of the fans" around here lateley? I certainly don't agree with this at all, and these comments may simply be born from anger, but they have been flying around here lately.
I've met coach on several occasions, and I've always gotten the feeling that he was the kind of person who would go above and beyond for his players. It is very nice to read something like this about him.
I thought people would think that this was a PR deal for ole DD but the truth is this was a story back in late Jan. and Feb. but DD didn't want to discuss it until the season was over. DD also thinks it is a private matter but Kris agree to discuss it so DD did as well. My thoughts are if you've had enough of the hoop program, just stop reading all posts and focus you engery elsewhere. Then when DD is gone come back and enjoy yourself.
I for one support the team and Coach DD. nough said.

Good job of damage control.
I, for one, have never had a problem with D.D.'s public persona, but, definitely with the transfers, losses, and tantrums with the players. Nobody deserves to be humiliated and treated badly when you want them to want to win for you. I just think, as far as being a winning coach, Dan could learn something from Curt Miller. You can tell his team loves to be around him and wants to win for him.Bleeding Orange wrote:dduncan wrote:I'm sorry, but that's not how it works. Don't know if you actually work, but numbers matter. Don't need them. She's fine writer and covers BG. Those two items combine to make a mighty appealing woman!Touchdown Rockets wrote:Do you have any pics?Rightupinthere wrote:Maureen Fulton is hott.
