Justin -- Wauseon, OH: Have you seen BG play this year Charlie? This is a team that took K-State to the wire last year and has everyone back and improved. Us fans that watch a ton of basketball at every level are very optimistic of at least one win this year.
Charlie Creme: (2:46 PM ET ) How they played K-state last year is irrelevent. The fact that you are using that as support for your argument sort of shows there is very little evidence this year to really let us know how good BG is.
This guy gets more and more ridiculous the more he talks. It's obvious he hasn't seen any of the little guys play at all and he dodged the question when I asked it. Of course it's relevant how we played K-state last year when our entire team is back and obviously improved. I got some evidence for ya....28-2.

Charlie Creme: (2:50 PM ET ) Yes, last year is irrelevent. It always has been. The committee will not at all consider a result from last year in the process. It's that simple. We haven't seen an opportunities of BG competing against bigger teams this year. That is the point. They played 1 top-50 team all season. ONE and lost. Give me some opportunities from this year where BG competed with bigger teams and maybe I'll rethink my stance.
What an asshat. He can't even consider a 28-2 record as decent simply because we didn't happen to beat a top 50 RPI team? WTF is the real relavence of the RPI anways? Does he have any idea how hard it is to lose two games out of 30 no matter who one is playing? Has he ever competed in anything before?
I swear to God, anytime anyone from the NCAA or the media opens their mouths anymore, I lose a substantial ammount of my faith in the purity of collegiate athletics. Outside of hockey, honestly, I'm not sure exactly how much I have left anymore...

You'll notice he didn't answer my next follow up in which I stated:
Win at Indiana by 18, Loss in Overtime at Kentucky. Show me a bigger school actually willing to come to BG, and I'll show you a loss on their schedule.
He didn't answer that because it proves he hasn't the slightest idea about this team.
He also answered my second question with something about how the committee doesn't look at last year. Where in my question is anything about seeding or the committee? I simply asked if he had seen BG play and stated we thought they had a good chance to make some noise. Why would I give a rat's ass about the committee when we are already in the field and I'm hoping we get a lower than projected seed? Douche of the month award goes to one Mr. Chucky Creme.
