damn their center is 6-4, long arms, says she has range to the 3 ball, rebounds well and is a shot blocker....(from her profile on UCLA's site)

she sounds pretty damn good too

They don't play much defense and they turn the ball over?! That sounds like a team that is tailor-made for us.

They are giving up over 71 points a game (they score 78 ), while we have yet to give a team 70 points. They turn the ball over about 17 times a game also.

We will need to shoot well and play more solid D to win. Their roster looks tall, but the bulk of the minutes are taken up by girls 6-2 and smaller. Other than the 6-4 freshman center, they really won't look that much taller than us.

Jazz will need to play very well as we'll need the backcourt depth to keep up with them.

Is anyone planning on going? Me and two other guys are planning on leaving Saturday morning for the game (it is on Sunday right?) and trying to find a bunch of other falcon fans to sit with.
Yeah right girl!

When Nicholas and I were watching the Bracket Show on ESPN, we were pretty ticked about the #12 seed. But with some time to cool down....... while we may be ranked #22, I guess we have an RPI of 42

And doesn't history usually favor the #12 team over the #5 team. Therefore, I am now thinking........ Sweet 16. Because I am that kind of an optimist guy. :-D And the Lady Falcons will have something to prove.

If I can find someone to go with from BG, I'll be all about heading out there to support the ladies. Money may be a factor, but I think I can make it work.

I think just in the last five minutes our car and hotel room got filled up, if you want to follow us out there witha few other guys that would be cool. I think we're staying in the Super Eight motel for like forty-nine bucks a night and that will get split four ways so the cost factor is being rubbed out a little bit. Anyone is welcome to get a room there too and party it up with us saturday night/sunday morning.

Since it was done to me this weekend, I have to pass it on... but I think I might be a bit wary of staying in this hotel room.

Damn, $49/night sounds pretty good to me. I'll have to see if I can get at least one other person in on this though, because gas price + room price is going to murder my bank account. Hopefully I can make this work.

You forgot the actual ticket too lol, and the more the merrier, it would be great to have a huge BG crowd for that game, and probably very intimidating for a west coast team.

lol, no, I remembered the ticket, I was just thinking about what costs could be split up among the people who were going, trying to cut costs as much as possible. I've accepted the fact that I'll probably have to shell out some decent cash for the ticket. :)

Someone in the chat room said they were guessing around $30, but I still don't know.

Purdue is selling them for $40 (general) and $30 (student), full-session.

http://www.purdue.edu/athletics/facilit ... 6WNCAA.pdf

I hope BG gets a set of them and sells them even cheaper for students.

For single session tickets (two games), tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students. $40/$30 for all-session (6 games) tickets, which would include two games from the Alb... New Mexico regional and then the winners playing each other on Tuesday night.

BG plays at approx 2:30 Sunday, they're the second game of the day.

*************************
Ticket Information: Full-session (all six games) ticket prices are $40 for adults and $30 for students. Single-session (two games) ticket prices are $15 for adults and $12 for students. All fans, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter Mackey Arena. Tickets may be purchased though the Purdue Athletic Ticket Office by calling (800) 497-7678 or (765) 494-3194.

The eight-team, six-game format consists of three sessions, with doors opening one hour before tipoff of the first game of each session. After the first two-game session Sunday, Mackey Arena will be cleared for the evening session.
