Akron wins in OT, Miami falls by one point in NIT

Akron beat Temple in overtime, 80-73. The Zips had very nice scoring balance and had five players score in double figures. Butler scored a basket with just two second remaining to beat Miami by one point, 53-52. Both of these games were on the road for the MAC teams. Akron will now advanced to play Creighton on the road. At least the MAC is assured of one postseason win.
