Joplin offered contract extension at UT
Now we'll see if he follows through on his end of the deal...
-We give him a blowout win over a rival to keep his job.
-He agrees to go back to being the same shitty coach that was about to be canned in January until his next contract comes due.

Everybody seemed to be blowing out BG late in the season. It was like your kids gave up.TG1996 wrote:Now we'll see if he follows through on his end of the deal...

I think the wins over Kent, NIU, WMU, NIU again (MAC Tournament), and Akron (MAC Tournament) is what saved his job. That and the very good APR score that came out for the men's basketball team. It doesn't make sense to fire a guy that is 6th on the MAC all-time winning list and has led UT to three 20 win seasons in the last 6 years after UT had zero 20 win seasons in the previous 19 years. When he also graduates his players it definitely doesn't make sense.
Unfortunately, you might not be all that far from the truth, although for happy-time, I'll say they didn't.rocketfootball wrote: Everybody seemed to be blowing out BG late in the season. It was like your kids gave up.
Besides, it's our board, if I want to say that we let UT win so Stan could come back, I'm allowed!

True that this is your board, but this is actually the "other school's" forum so I am inclined to say that your kids gave up.TG1996 wrote:Unfortunately, you might not be all that far from the truth, although for happy-time, I'll say they didn't.rocketfootball wrote: Everybody seemed to be blowing out BG late in the season. What's a rent-a-board? I have my own website, but there really is no need to add another UT forum so I just redirect my visitors to the Matt Sledge board and the NCAAbbs board.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:Says he of the rent-a-boardAnonymous wrote:darnit.
