When I worked at Hot 'n' Now, coach L once went through the drive through the wrong way... it was one of my favorite college moments.Dayons_Den wrote:A little revisionist history with that comment. I never once saw Coach L eating at a restaraunt in Bowling Green. He wasn't involved in the community and seemed to have a bit of a superiority complex. The two coaches that sandwiched Larranaga at BG most definitely "represented the university extremely well" and were "decent guy[s]".BleedOrange wrote:Agreed. I did, however, really enjoy his trapping defense and up tempo basketball.
I used to see him all over BG and my dad would meet him and eat at Junction (or whatever it was called then... "Sundance" maybe??) about once a month. His sons went to St. John's so he wasn't involved in BGHS, but I think we was pretty active in and around BG.
