Important week for BG baseball

Post by BGSU33 »

BG has a pair of midweek non-conference games before opening an important MAC series at EMU next weekend. As we all know in pretty much any BG sport, what you do in the non-conference is great (or not), but what matters most is in the conference. In baseball it's no different. The MAC regular season is how you try and qualify and then earn a good seed in the MAC Tournament. If you win the MAC Tournament, you're off to a Regional. If you don't qualify or lose in the MAC Tournament, you're done.

Well said, 33. It was a great start to the season but team struggled the last couple weeks.

Time to jack it up for the MAC.

Hopefully, we will have almost everyone back and healthy for this weekend.
Tyler Wasserman got HBP on Friday and missed the rest of the weekend, and Ryan Shea missed the weekend due to the death of his mother, and there is a chance Tyler Saneholtz may be back also. Those three make a HUGE difference in our lineup!!

FM,

Thanks for helping my dad when the team was in Bradenton. He called ans said "Holy Cross must have a heck of a team!".

I'm glad he went to the DH.

I thought he would call me while he was at the game and introduce himself. If I would have known he was there, I would have looked him up, and introduced him to the coaches etc. Tell him not to be so bashful the next time!!
