Boy, what a breath-of-fresh-air comment! Thanks for adding so much to the site.

I was just trying to make a joke about it. As a six year old do you really think they would have any idea who a journeyman point guard for the Jazz is by his face? Can you tell me you can pick out Milt Palacio in a room.

When you were six, would you have refused to get an autograph from an NBA player. Would you have thought at age six, why would I want an autograph from a journeyman point guard? Those last two statements are at about a 6 year old level. Get a clue.

Journeyman? This is his third year in the league he's played for two teams and from what I have heard they like his work ethic. Now if in five years from now he is on his sixth team I would say he is a journeyman...

those last two statements were at a 6 year old level. Thank the lord I did not say them.

I would love for you to show me where I said the kids should or would not want an autograph from McLeod. I just said they likely have no idea who he is before they are told. Pick Milt Palacio out of a group of ten black men 5-11 to 6-5.

When I was in Korea last year kids their age came up to me and asked me for an autograph. They had no clue who I was.

Agreed, i was searching for a better adjective and did not find one.

Milt the Stilt would be a journeyman. Right now he falls somewhere between College Free Agent who could surprise and Journeyman.

Journemyan still make 100 times my salary in a year.

Keith McLeod is by far a better athlete and basketball player than me. If I saw him I would ask for his autograph.

When I was a six years old in Kansas City, my Mom took me to the mall to get Dennis Leonard's autograph. A simple little autograph and ten seconds of conversation from some obscure Royals pitcher made my day. I am sure those kids were excited that an NBA starter from their hometown team was at their school signing autographs.

And for the record, a guy like Chauncey Billups has made a good living being an NBA journeyman.
