The worst part is this makes it even harder to make fun of Toledo for having a bunch of retarded felons on the team.
At least Nick Lawrence wasn't with them.
yeah, the dealer never smokes with his clients.
also according to the article, Patrick said several other players had been partaking in the activities earlier. While this may be true, I don't think this is a good way to win friends on a team you just joined. Could make for some more problems as well.

From general appearances I over the last several years it seems like the NCAA has no policy on punishment for drug use, but I don't know.
Another ineresting paragraph in the article is near the end about the OSU player. The writer mentions that player only getting a managment class and periodically evaluations. Almost like trying to lead readers to believe that these two knuckleheads shouldn't get any sort of suspension or team punishment.

Clearly that's not a problem, if he and AT went to high school together, and got back into their friendship by toking up on the parking lot. Didn't take long.
This just burns me up. It’s the day before spring practice begins and this is the hot topic around our program. I just hope like hell it’s not a sign of things yet to come. We’ve got a lot of question marks about this team and this is not the type of issues you want to deal with starting your 2006 season with spring ball.
"The Falcons begin spring practice tomorrow, and it is unknown at this point whether Turner and Patrick will participate."
I would have to think these two guys will not be participating in spring drills at least for some period of time. I don't think it would send much of a message to the team if these guys are caught smoking pot and they can practice right away. My personal opinion is that they should be suspended from spring practice and then a decision will need to be made on next season, which at the very least should be a game or two suspenstion. Is Patrick even eligible to play in 2006?

obviously not those two, but the other ssupposedly smoking with them. I'm sure they were just reminicising about the old times

I don't know, I could find something for them to do. There are lot's of stadium steps to run up and down, and when they get tired of that, there's even a hill to run up and down. Now if you want to build camaraderie the way the Foreign Legion does it, one for all and all for one, and all that, you could run Spring practice as usual, but make the WHOLE squad get up early to run up and down stadium steps. That kind of camaraderie has a rather deterrant effect on would be miscreants. Works for the Foreign Legion.

I support that... They are a team, right? Haha...
So what do we know about this Freddie Barns guy? It looks like he might get some playing time this year.
Awesome! Now I know why he was crying after the Akron game last year!
Anthony Glaud may want to warm up his arm a bit this year, too...
