It is not my intention to do away with government. It is rather to make it work - work with us, not over us; stand by our side, not ride on our back. Government can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it. ~Ronald Reagan

I'm guessing something to do with Jamie DuMont?

Any civil details as to the departure?

Would someone care to explain why he left?
Was this his idea?
Where he has gone.
Someone said that we have lost 3 coaches in 2 years -
besides Jamie and Kevin - who?

From what I've heard he has a couple leads on jobs back home (Maine). Other than that, I have not heard anything.

The link to his bio has been removed from the official site. I would expect an official release tomorrow when offices open that he's been offered a job in the Northeast, but that's just a guess.

he quit the day after the last game and so did the strength coach. They were very popular with the players and that's a no no.

What the heck!!

Post by Falconboy »

Did another hockey coach on the staff leave? Wow , this isn't good. This almost beats out the troubles with Dan Dakich , he's never this many coaches leave in few seasons, just players. Whats going on here I wonder? I'm hoping it doesnt' mean much thats for sure.

If you only know of one coach leaving why "deduce" that this is a common problem?

Cuz I remember one other coach that left a while back. Maybe I made a mountain out of a mole hill by saying this a common problem. I just hope it doens't become one thats all.

Coaches leave for better opportunities. The life of an assistant hockey coach isn't too glamorous so I don't blame any ASSISTANT coach for leaving. There aren't as many programs so when there's a job opportunity you take it.

And yes, I've already called in the bulldozer to knock down that mountain.
