Steve Sanders

Post by Falconballer »

With all the hype Omar is getting some of the other draft eligible players are doing quite well. We know Steve and Chuck did not run very well on the pro day, however, the pittsburg steelers came and worked them both out as well as PJ. Omar didnt throw because he had food poisioning. They all did really well and ran much better times. Steve ran a 5.4 and Chuck ran a 5.2. Also they have more workouts coming this thursday at the Field house with the Browns, Jaguars, Colts, and I believe the Lions. On top of that Steve is being flown out to Seattle for a workout/interview with the Seahawks. If this goes well we could see Steve being drafted, late rounds, but none the less drafted.

I hear the P.J. really improved his draft status because he ran a 4.46 at the workouts, whcih was better than most projected. That is FAST!!

IF Steve Sanders ran a 5.4 he might as well retire.

OMG thats is funny!!! Yeah Falconballer either didn't read the workout results right or Steve and Chuck have both gained 80lbs. Now if the accurate times are more in line with Steve running a 4.4 and Chuck running a 4.2 then thats more like it and would be amazing. I doubt though that Chuck ran a 4.2 though unless he's done some otherwordly things in the gym.

Don't worry, all is forgiven.....I think. I was hoping Chuck was a 4.4 guy. 4.5 isn't horrid by any stretch but being in the high 4.4's helps a bit more.

The workout was today. This morning at 9 a.m. All they did was run routes and catch the ball. Omar, and PJ did there own little drills with the coaches. But they didnt test them in anything. Also, Mike Thaler was there working out. His first workout since having surgery on his foot. Only the 49ers and Jaguars were there though. But from what I gathered it went well.
