Would you like to compare the all-time series?rocketfootball wrote:Sorry, but us Rockets take everything about BG seriously. How about that incident at the BMV and then the car chase afterwards the other day. Some of the things I have been hearing lately makes me think the city of BG is trying to be more like the city of Toledo. Before you know it, you're gonna have to move to Alaska to get away from crime.Flipper wrote:Yeah...with the rest of Toledo's homeless population. Has anyone heard how Barnes has been doing in the passing drills? How do we look at RB?

I'm well aware that you guys have a few games on us all-time, 6 to be exact. However, what happened in 1950 doesn't really matter in the 21st century. The fact I like is that we are virtually tied over the last 25 years. That is the mark of a great rivalry.BGDrew wrote:Would you like to compare the all-time series?rocketfootball wrote:Sorry, but us Rockets take everything about BG seriously. I think you misread that 87. Two seperate questions posed there. Barnes in playing QB. Macon is back after redshirting to handle the RB chores.1987alum wrote:Barnes is also working out at RB? Brandon mentioned him in the same breath as Turner when talking about the starting QB spot.BGDrew wrote:Has anyone heard how Barnes has been doing in the passing drills? How do we look at RB?

Thanks! I know there had been some discussion at the end of last year concerning Barnes moving to WR. I took Brandon's preseason comments as the end of that speculation.
I have to say I feel pretty good about our situation at RB. Macon has looked good when given the chance and we have Thomas coming back after a full year of experience. Now, about those receivers ...

I wish I could make one but time does seem to be there.
As for Toledo a few funny items...
one to Cartie dismay Bass Pro shops is going to open perrysburg...ooo big schock there.
Two who works in DT Toledo? No one.
Three 24 news and 11 news are contemplating droping the toledo in thier names and replacing it.
four the upside for the blue colar town is that Toledo is still home to the most smokers percapita. I see a new slogan...Use a Rocket to light that Camel.
