That's what I thought, too, but I think they've been metal for at least a few years now. (Witness the kid sitting in the stands during the 'opera' commercial, it's a few years old and all the seats are metal.)

The Perry Stadium bench seating used to be made of an orange plastic stuff. They were replaced by metal three or four years ago, I believe.

The old stuff was better-looking and more comfortable, but the age was showing.

Perhaps they think the new seating will last longer. Maybe it was less expensive.

The renderings didn't really give me a clue about SEBO's height. The only thing to guage SEBO against in the pictures are the uprights, but I'm only starting to appreciate that unless you're sitting at the top of the stands, that end zone is not going to have a horizon behind the SEBO to look at for much longer.

I can attest to the size. It's over the stands now.

That might make it a bit easier for Rojas and Big Bird. Although $7.5 million seems a bit pricey for a windscreen.

Does anyone know where the team will emerge to take the field once the SEBO is done? I thought it was to remain in the same place as it is now, but it looks like the building is going to be where the current tunnel is.

Same spot from what I understand, just maybe a cooler tunnel than streamers to run out of.

OH MAN!

They're already watering down the field! I see the guy moving the hose! I sure hope no TU fans see him moving that hose.

its awesome to see how much a new facility can stir up convos. I walk around campus and ive heard a lot of people looking in the direction of the football stadium and talking about the sebo center. see what happens when new facilities go up...a new interest and a new excitement!

I can say that the proposed building of the SEBO center was a big plus toward my son's decision to commit to BGSU. It is great to see the center taking shape. I imagine it will be a VERY NICE attractor of future BGSU athletes.

I can only imagine how excited all of you long time BGSU fans are to see the steel going up.

Go Falcons! =D>
