Kent State is playing the Hokies on NOV 11 is this for real?

If this is for real which it seems to be and unless there is another Kent State, i hope that KSu can at leat make a showing against a team that will be in its Prime. Thats the kind of OCC I would for us to have a nice mid season face off to aid in the elimination of nay sayers "this is like a bowl game for them and for _________ well its there second game they dont have the kinks worked out and that is what this game is for..."

Nothing is ever going to eliminate the naysayers.

Too true. Well that is unless all D1 when to a playoff system as it should be...but the BCS presidents of the monopoly will never allow that to happen.

Give up $95 million of the $100 million of bowl money out there?

Not gonna' happen.

I still fail to see how guns are relevant to this site?

Please do away with them. It's stupid.

Maybe if they were Brown and Orange and had our logos on them, it might be O.K..

But please I can't stand reading this site anymore when there are huge pictures of guns below every response.

Money is money I guess, but VT that late in the season? Wow.

No offense 52, but he's got every right to have those things in his avatar and signature. It doesn't violate any of the policies on this site. If you have Firefox you can block those images.

He does. Unfortunately, it would also probably be a breach of Netiquette to encourage him to see a shrink.

(And who wants to shoulder that responsibility after gazing at what appears, to this untrained eye, to be a military-grade weapon?)

I just spent my weekend getting likkered up deep in the back woods, watching as friends fired a muzzle loader and a revolver at various targets.

It really was a good time.

Yet MACMAN's signatures continue to unsettle even me.

As a mod, I have no idea what to do about them.

Perhaps MACMAN is actually a young woman working on her masters thesis, and this is all part of an elaborate social science experiment.

Definitely an untrained eye. That cannot be a military weapon as there is no automatic feature (you need to have some type of trigger hand support if you want to be able to use the full auto function of a weapon).

Now could it be doctored so you could use it full auto? I'm not going to say because I know the government is reading this web site and you could get into trouble for telling how to do so. Hello Mr. Vice President.

At the very least somehow make it football or BG related.

Point it at a Toledo fan or something. I don't know. I try to read this site at various places and I would just rather not have a big gun picture all over my screen.

Not computer nerdy enough to do the Firefox thing.

I'm done with this. I will just have to avoid his posts.

Actually this far superior to a milspec sniper rig in 308, this a springfield M1a with a krieger cryo treated barrel with a 1in 8 twist, this is my 1000+yard target gun for camp perry and sniper golf...yes shooting golfballs at unkonwn distances between 600 and 1000 yards.
It realy is an awful shame that the image of target gun would be cause of these remarks, just a total lack of exposure to firearms and the media making guns out to be bad. Oh well...maybe I will send it out and have the stock air brushed in matalci Orange with the traditional Falcon logo...that is a good idea, thanks.

You are very welcome. Last thing I intend on doing is being, (how to make this come out as intened over the internet) a toatal prick to a fellow fan and making this place unenjoyable for them. That said i hope this is satisfactory, and I will size future gun pics accordingly.
