Omar on Cold Pizza

Post by swinger5 »

I just saw on cold pizza that Omar is going to be doing an interview a little later in the show.

Combined with this:

How in the hell do we get two people watching Cold Pizza? That has to make up at least half their viewership!!!

EDIT:
Wake me up when Omar comes on. I watched three minutes of this show and am now looking for a sharp object for my eyes and ears. Any suggestions?

He's also sporting a different look with the hair (for those who haven't seen it, it's still long, just braided different on top and into the back).

Yes it was. Man, seeing those highlights make me wish he was back and it also makes me scratch my head as to how that team only went 6-5. For those who missed it, he didn't say anything new that we didn't already know. It was just a short interview with him talking about why he left, his style of play, what he missed about college, where he'd like to play next, etc.

Did Jay Crawford admit to being a BG grad?

I don't think he admitted it, but it was inferred by his "I miss Fricker's too" comment. Crawford's a tool, and frankly I can't really stand him.

Agreed. I don't expect everyone to share the same enthusiasm for BG that alot of us do here, and as a national program, the focus is on something other than the specifics of Bowling Green, but c'mon.. have some fun with it. Freakin' chodesmoker.

The only time I have heard him admit that he was a BG grad is when our guys won the West. Cold Pizza showed a clip of coach Brandon getting mobbed by fans during an interview. Jay slipped in that oh yeah I went to school there.

I honestly think Jacobs should have said, "By the way Jay, we're raising money for a brand new athletic center on campus and looking for some Alumni to support the project. How much will you be giving?"

I grabbed the interview on my TiVo, and have the clip on my hard drive, but it's HUGE. If anyone knows of a way to easily compress it, I'm all ears. (It's about 190MB, almost twice as much as YouTube allows.)

You can try megaupload.com. You could also try usendit, that would geerate a temporary link. I would compress it using Divx. The software to convert to Divx can be had free on a trial basis from, I think, Divx.com or Drdivx.com .
