That's why I said since Brandon Pardon. He was good, very good. Damn near great in fact.

Since then they've paraded nothing but one dimensional (at best) talents.

And the damnedest thing about it is that, of all the positions that a team needs to fill, this is where the talent pool is the richest. We're due for a good one.

We're OVERDUE for a good one!!!!!! I wish Pardon would have shot more. I guess, at the time, we had so many good shooters that he was content with getting assists - but a point guard that could consistantly hit the three - that would be so refreshing to see next year!!!!!!

I had seen Chris Knight's name in the latest issue of "Van Coleman's Superstars." This basketball newsletter focused on the top unsigned talent in the country and Knight was the only one for which BG was mentioned. Not much info but indicated that he was a wing athlete who had broken into the starting lineup at Patterson School (Evidently a prep or one of these mega private schools). Listed at 6'7" 210 and interested in BG, Manhattan, Ole Miss and Tulane.

Wow, this Chris Knight looks like would be an unbelievable steal if we got him.

I could've sworn that I heard DD on 1470 say that Chris Knight had signed. It was right before he mentioned getting the fax from Hamblet.

I hate to bring it up because it'll probably bring several posts on how we don't have any scholarships available.

Here? Never!

Hopefully an area news-type was listening in on 1470 as well and we'll have more information in one of the papers soon.

I was listening and didn't pick up anything about Knight. He talked about the "kid from Michigan" and the "kid from Indiana" who could be the early signees from this year.
