Sounds like similar circumstances to myself. I graduated in '99 as well and the wife in '01. It just looks like I'll end up buying individual game tickets again this year.

Welcome falconfan1999! My wife's parents live in Huron and we usually stay overnight there after night games instead of driving all the way back to the Akron area. Or, for early games, we go up the night before and it makes for a nice little hour drive to BG.

Mrs. Freak's parents live over in the Shelter Bay Condos.

Happily married, yes. Wimp? Nah. Mrs. Freak went to Ohio State but she roots for BG against everyone...including the Buckeye$. The Dark Side did not keep her.

I would be the MAN if I could find where she hid my balls. I know they're in a pickle jar or something somewhere in the house. Perhaps I'll ask for them back this evening.

The construction of the SEBO has moved further around the endzone from East to West. For the last couple weeks, the construction seemed to revolve around the inside of the white beams (the cement looking structure), and the white beams construction stopped right about in between the uprights of the goal posts from the webcam view. This afternoon, the white beams have now expanded past the goal posts.

The "cement looking structure" is the elevator shaft unit...according to Paul Krebs at the FC reception on Sat. morning, the building is being assembled in "quadrants", and each quad will be assembled as they get the steel.

I thought that might be an elevator shaft, but wasn't sure. Funny enough, in the hour that has passed since I made the post about the structure moving East to West, two more large white beam supports have gone up. I love being able to see the construction progress on the webcam. It’s cool to see progress made from day to day, or in today’s case, hour to hour.

I just got back from the Doyt with the girlfriend and the progress seems to have been jump started as of late. I remember when my parents built our new house though, that the outside went up remarkably fast and the inside took what seemed like an eternity to finish. I wouldn't be suprised if the structre and the outside was finished by the time we play our first home game next year. We'll just have to wait to fully enjoy the Sebo until they finish all the 'internal organs' and what not.
