BG ends up losing game one to Akron 7-4

Well, we let this one get away from us. This was a bad loss and a costly one in the MAC standings. After taking a 4-0 lead into the seventh, BG gave up a run in the seventh, three more runs in the eighth and then Akron hit a three run home run with two outs today in the completion of the suspended game in the ninth inning to beat BG 7-4. We must win the next two and claim this series. This loss drops is a game behind CMU and KSU and into a three-way tie with EMU and WMU (heading into game the game two's of Saturday).

Good thing we won today, 9-1. The Freaklings and I will be there tomorrow to see BG take the 3rd game.
