Best Memory of Old Announcer.....

Post by Falcon in IL »

At halftime, he would announce the "Kick for Caaaaashe."
I don't know if he didn't like the word cash, or if making the "a" REAL long was his thing, but it was almost as cool as the "falcon noise" we got now.

I wasn't the only one who couldn't read it. Some little girl was trying to read off the scores to all the people in the crowd around us, then said, "It's too hard for me to see daddy." :(

Just one quick word. While there are still some bugs, I would say that the overall environment was improved. They had some drink kiosks away from the main concession lines, and the scoreboard fonts were better.

It was especially awesome when they played it for a BSU first down with about 6 minutes to go.

LOL

They went from screech-happy to playing it thrice on Saturday. I noticed the rogue one you mentioned as well. Guess they're on the Meatloaf philosophy -- two out of three ain't bad.

the new guy does suck. Brady Gaskins was the bomb - he came after Glick - and did a helluva job. AND the newbie gets frickin PAID $$$ to do this - must be on loan from John FRICKIN Kerry. He sucks too.

The thought of George W. Bush calling our football games cracks me up so much, I really can't think of anything else to say about it.

Brady is an awesome guy and did a terrific job! He is working at the Student Rec Center as the assistant director of rec sports. I'm sure they could get him back if they wanted to (they need to IMO)!!!
