Matt Update?

Post by BleedOrange »

I know that Matt is considering treatment options for his feet. I've been wondering how things have been coming along for him on that front. Does anybody know anything? I'm hoping the that we'll see him next year at 100% (rather than the 33% like last year).

Yeah, I hope Matt gets good help for his feet and can get back on the court this fall and anchor the center position.

He's still working out and doing the normal routine. Not sure if he's met with any specialists yet.

Last I heard he was still planning on gutting it out next year. His feet are in extremely bad condition though. Basically like running on two flat feet with a bone sticking out the bottom of one.

I'm not even sure what treatments he could realistcally do. Most surgeries would end his career.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas for the Cavaliers had 5 surgeries in 4 years on his feet to cure serious problems and has gone on to have some productive years!

It wasn't because Z had flat feet it was because he kept breaking his foot
