what's up with him. he's showing as being on the Giants roster but I thought I remember him signing with either an AFL or CFL team.

He was on a CFL team for awhile, but their season ended. Then he signed with an AFL team, but the Giants came calling, and he took that opportunity. This is probably his last chance in the league, so I can understand trying for one last hurrah. I imagine that he'll go back to the CFL or AFL if he cannot make the Giants' roster.

I actually heard that Harris would be interested in coaching if the NFL gig didn't work out.

I could see him teaching high schoolers to start out then move into a college level position.

Regardless, I wish him the best. He already has had a start that most of us would envy - great family and VERY interesting work travels.

On a related note, the Josh Harris Football Camp that was to be held in June in BG has been cancelled due to lack of funding. :( Apparently the one in Columbus is still on :?

That's really a shame that the one in BG has to be cancelled. Josh is taking the time to try to help out the youth in BG and he can't get the funds? Did the S-T advertise in the newspaper or even the athletic dept.?

I know the Dispatch and two weeklies in Columbus have advertised the Columbus camp.

I do not recall any ads in the Sentinal at all. I think they did a terrible job of advertising this. I happened to hear about it on the radio. 107.7 the Fox, the flagship station of the Falcon sports radio network, and based in Findlay, had an ad one day that I happened to catch. That is how I found out about it.

Here is the e-mail I received about the cancellation:

"Our management marketing company (Destined for Success Management, LLC) unfortunately announces the cancellation of the Josh Harris Football Clinic and Educational Workshop. The clinic was to be held in Bowling Green, Ohio on June 24 and 25. The plan for the clinic was to be successful and give back to the youth of Bowling Green, OH; however, enough funding was not obtained to support the camp this year. Nevertheless, we would like to offer those who have already registered the opportunity to participate in the Columbus camp.
Thus, a full refund will be returned at your request.

Thank you for your consideration on behalf of Josh Harris and his family. Please feel free to give us a call at 770-908-1525 if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
