The Irish are riding a nation’s best 23-game winning streak…..sure would be nice to end that!

- Notre Dame cuts the lead down to 7-3 through four innings played.

- BG comes back and adds a pair of runs, 9-3 Falcons in the 5th.

- ND adds a run in the bottom of the 5th, BG leads 9-4.

- The Irish add another run to make it 9-5 in the 6th.

- ND is storming back, the Irish score two more in the 7th to make it 9-7.

- For the first time in five innings, BG doesn't allow a run, 9-7 BG in the 9th!

- BG tacks on two huge "insurance run" to make it 11-7, bottom of the 9th!

- ND threatening, the Irish score a run and BG now leads 11-8....

- Two on, two outs, BG up 11-8 in the bottom of the 9th....

AWESOME WIN!!! Wins like these go down as some of the biggest in school history. Go figure - we lose two outta three against a team that won only seven games all season long (Akron), then we come right back and beat Top-10 Notre Dame on their home field while walking nine batters. GREAT WIN!!!

Work and an increasing heart rate pulled me away from Gametracker when it got to 9-5 or 9-7... great to see they tacked those extra runs on and got the win!
