Instead I was subjected to several out-of-tune renditions of Shania Twain songs. Every single night. It was awful. All they ever sang was country music.

YIKES!!! Gotta agree with you on this one, McConvey!!!! You couldn't pay me enough to work under those conditions.....doesn't that fall under a cruelty to humans law somewhere???

It certainly should have.
Not only was it country music, but the people singing were AWFUL. I'm the first to admit that I am a poor singer and I can't carry a tune, but I can't purposely sing as out-of-tune as they were. And they thought they were good!
It was just painful. Everything about it was painful.
