I disagree with this post completely.

I was in Mobile (which doesn't matter, but I'm proud of that), and we were winning that game with DeAngelo at full force. I think we would have won anyway. It just would have been closer.

And, frankly, the way Western Michigan whipped us, I question whether we would have won with a healthy Omar.

Omar is fantastic. But he doesn't play defense.

I would argue we were trading touchdowns with them. ;-)

Yeah, we were trading touchdowns and were ahead. Also, we quit throwing the ball in the second half. We were scoring at will prior to that. Clearly, though, with Williams the margin would not have been as comfortable.

Personaly I am believe in that off field actions untill they impact a players ability to contribute to the team are seperate free from team rules.
if a player crosses that line then its a problem. its the same to me as any employee, what they do at home i have no controll over, unless it impacts thier job preformance.

oh well the good news is the team is making ready for the upcoming season, a season in which we will do very well.

Lots of commercials for the BG-Wis. game on FX tonight during the NASCAR broadcast from Richmond. (Time-Warner in BG)

I was up in BG last weekend fist time since homecoming and saw those commercials too. Good stuff. Also went to the grand opening of the End Zone. Met Metz and won a free t-shirt. Good times.
