BG won 6-3 in 12 innings yesterday and exploded for a 10-1 win today. Falcons finish the regular season 35-21, 16-6 MAC. However, Kent State finished 16-5 MAC and wins the East. BG will be the 3rd seed in the MAC Tourney this Wed-Sat in Midland, MI....

Game 1 - No. 3 Bowling Green vs. No. 6 Akron, 11 a.m.

Game 2 - No. 2 Kent State vs. No. 7 Northern Illinois, 1:30 p.m.

Game 3 - No. 4 Central Michigan vs. No. 5 Eastern Michigan, 5 p.m.

Game 4 - No. 1 Western Michigan vs. No. 8 Ohio, 7:30 p.m.

GO FALCONS!!!! BRING HOME ANOTHER TROPHY!!!

By the Falcon Softball team. I had no idea what their record was until I looked it up at the bgsufalcons.com site. 16-6 in Mac play is pretty good. Got the #3 seed I see. Wasn't this year's team supposed to be real young and whatnot? I say Coach has done a pretty darn good job with these ladies.

Yeah, quite a drive! It was great when the Tourney was in Akron.

Unfortunately I'll be doing the same thing as Freak. I want so badly to be there this year. I've been to the last 2 tourney's and it's been the best time, especially bringing home that title in 04. But at least this year I won't fall asleep on the drive home and suddenly be soaked by the rain storm Metz conveniently didn't wake me up for, nor did he roll up my window. Thanks again buddy. hahaha Good luck girls, bring home another ring!!!
