Turner to sit out Wisconsin Game
True. I guess what's more impressive is how I make the trip home after the game... but that can be said for most of us, I think...hammb wrote:Don't worry, we aren't that impressed with ya when you make the trip anyways

I was not suggesting that purchase of tickets was unecessary. I just hope the team (those other 90 players you were referring to) and the coaches dont mentally start thinking "ok we're at a disadavantage now". In my opinion, 90% of the game is mental. Certainly I would say that Wisconsin easily blows us out of the water on the 10% of physical. But they are very beatable, even if we have someone who cant throw at QB. I have made quite a few long road trips myself, seeing how the game at PU was the only BG game within 3hrs of my house. But the difference is for me, BH has never lost a game that I went to. So there is still that magical ora surrounding this team for me. Certianly I realize the streak will end eventually, but I'd much rather witness a win in person than sit at home and watch a loss! So lets hope BG keeps the streak alive for me against Wiscy. 6-0 lifetime (toledo, ball state twice, purdue, marshall, and northwestern)!
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

And thanks for cutting me some slack TG, seeing how I dont have any direct connection to BG and yet I still cheer for them every game like its life or death. Im not a fairweather fan. I just dont want to see my team get blown out and embarrased. Especially after convincing two people who dont give a crap about BG football to go to this game with me and scream their lungs out for BG, just because I wanted to add to the "quantity of support for a BGSU team". Dont worry I'll give myself the pat on that back. Simply because, like many of you who post on here, I find it to be my duty as a dedicated BG fan to do everything in my power to help the university and help the attendance numbers, espeically at home football games!

I really hope Glaud is that guy.
The only thing I don't like about starting a freshman (assuming he can learn the offense), is that it blows his redshirt year for one game that we will be a heavy underdog in.
Of course, but it's still a wasted year of eligibility if we don't beat Wisconsin.

I never said I was suprised by it. I don't like it. I never have and I probably never will.
After some further explanaing from the perp, I retract my comments.

Turner was ordered to pay a $150 fine and $70 in court costs, but this wasn't his first brush with the law.
In the summer of 2005, he was warned by Bowling Green police for setting off illegal fireworks - eight days after the Fourth of July.
I heard he also tore the tag off of his mattress.

wow he only got a warning for fireworks???? that bastard, we got a $100 ticket for lighting some off last friday since some of my friends graduated.
Anyways, I was watching the recruiting video lastnight and i didn't realize how big Glaud and Sheehan were. I wouldn't be suprised if one of them comes in this summer and gets the starting nod against Wisky. RIght now I don't know who I would take because they both had some very impressive throws on the tape, but Glaud looks to have a little stronger arm.

About the videos. Sheehan did have a nasty shoulder injury last year. But that could be another potential reason to give Glaud the start. I'll have to ask my uncle how Sheehan's shoulder has healed (his brother is Sheehan's Uncle)

More news for the law breakers ...
Any Fan that has ever smoked pot will not be allowed in or
had a beer underage,
or a speeding/parking ticket
The Athletic Department just does not see how your fine and or time could have been punishment enough, and feels that you should not be allowed to attend home games. Due to your not obeying the laws.
