Just to throw a curveball this way, I'm going to talk about the game.... The wife and I will be there, regaradless of who has an orange helmet on. We support the school, not the player. I hope Anthony Turner can do some good things at BGSU, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over him. I'd dearly love us to send those overgrown woodchucks back to Madison with a sound beathing!

The Athletic Department just does not see how your fine and or time could have been punishment enough, and feels that you should not be allowed to attend home games. Due to your not obeying the laws.
Those with horrendous grammar will also be turned away.

I don't know what Coach Brandon's reasons for handling a suspension for a public offense internally would be, but he apparently has his reasons and is wondering how they leaked. You're right about how people would respond to no news of a suspension, then no AT in Cleveland, I think.orangeandbrown wrote:My favorite part of the article is where Coach Brandon says that he was upset that news of this got out...
My question is, what did he think people would think when the game started and AT wasn't playing?
This was the first time I actually read the article, and my only impression is... could Musselman be any more of a smug little s**t? I hope him and his mom think that act is funny, cause that's about it.

I doubt his mom thinks it's funny. Is there any writer besides Maureen Fulton that's worth anything at that paper???TG1996 wrote:I don't know what Coach Brandon's reasons for handling a suspension for a public offense internally would be, but he apparently has his reasons and is wondering how they leaked. Hackenberg and Matt Markey are both good writers. Musselman gets paid to get people riled up like that. I didn't read the article and I'm not going to, but I'm sure it's just more of the same. This Maureen Fulton that you speak of writes too many articles about BG, so she loses some points there. Matt Markey, btw, I believe is a BG alumnus.

Yeah, I know. Sorry about that, I should have used one of those "wink" smileys. By nature, I'm a very sarcastic person and that sometimes doesn't come across on these boards.Falconfreak90 wrote:I believe Maureen is the BG beat writer.Touchdown Rockets wrote:Hackenberg and Matt Markey are both good writers. BTW, Rocket fans dislike Musselman as much as you guys, and probably even more.

That was a truly stupid peice of work by Mussleman. But the most spectacularly stupid part was the "...and it was eight days after the Fourth". Does that move it into felony territory? I know Turner has a reord as long as his, well, wrist, maybe, but I suspect its on a par with about 50% of the rest of the male population that age. Me? I just never got caught!
I suppose Brandon had to take some action and what he did seems reasonable to harsh to me so I'm not sure what the problem is.
