Bring Back Men's Track and Field

Post by transfer2BGSU »

Editorial in the Sentinel Tribune this evening calling for BGSU to restore Track and Field as Krebs is departing.

Not suprising. I don't think they saw it as the business move that it was. Did they mention men's swimming or tennis? My guess would be not. I personally would rather see swimming or tennis back, since I had friends on both those teams. Loss of track and field didn't bother me.

It wasn't an editorial, but a letter to the "sports" editior from a former distance runner, I believe.

Oops, my mistake. It was a letter and the person had some sort of hatred towards Paul Krebs. My guess is that it was a former athlete (although he did throw in that "Ohio taxpayer" line a few times).
