Yeah, well okay but Omar is our best chance at seeing a Falcon on a NFL field in an actual game some time soon so I would't complain to much. There isnt a whole lot of teams I hate really, maybe is cuz I never have been a hardcrore NFL'er till somewhat recently, but I do hate the Green Bay , the Vikings and the Jets , don't know why ,just do. I find myself able to root for both the Steelers and the Browns though I maybe more partial for the Browns with the whole orange & brown thing going.Godsgirlerific wrote:The Steelers thing is killing me...

I honostly have never seen the Redkins play very much if at all. If Kary Cambell only plays on ST's then thats not much to look forward to really. It is nice that he is still playing though. Its sad that after what 7 or 8 years now he hasn't been able to crack the starting lineup at linebacker.dduncan wrote:You don't root for Khary Campbell, every time the Redskins have to punt. Khary's last year at BG was 2001 with UM. He has only been away from BG for 5 years.falconboy wrote:Its sad that after what 7 or 8 years now he hasn't been able to crack the starting lineup at linebacker.dduncan wrote:You don't root for Khary Campbell, every time the Redskins have to punt. It is not sad that he does not start. I don't know Khary, but I'm sure he worked his butt off to get on an NFL roster. He does a very good job on special teams and I believe that he won some sort of community service award last year from the NFL. He is a very good example for today's Falcons to look to.
Well, that only leaves him with one arm tied behind his back!Falcons4Life wrote:I can only hope that the steelers open the season 0-10 and then Chinny McHuge Underbite decides to put you in at which point the steelers win the rest of their games except against the browns!
The black helmet, I dunno. Gives me an odd, sort of Twilight Zone feeling. Sort of like, we know there should be a dolphin on his helmet, but the fabric of the universe has mysteriously distorted, and now we have an alter ego from a parallel universe. That is why the black helmet looks out of place. Importantly, he feels he belongs in his black helmet, so all is well.
Could just be my monitor.

To go along with Khary playing in "actual" games. Scott M. played in 6 games for the Chargers on a NFL field last year as well. So I think we have a couple of chances of seeing Falcons in the NFL ahead of Omar.falconboy wrote: Yeah, well okay but Omar is our best chance at seeing a Falcon on a NFL field in an actual game some time soon so I would't complain to much. Nice slam on a team that won a playoff game last year! Ha, I am a Redskins fan, so I had to respond.dduncan wrote:You don't root for Khary Campbell, every time the Redskins have to punt. And they punt often.
One of the reasons Khary has not cracked the starting lineup in Washington is because they have had some very, very good veteran LBs the last couple years and a defense that is one of the best in the NFL. Khary is obviously happy with his situation because wasn't he a free agent after last season and re-signed with the 'Skins?
