Okay, now I *don't* know what you're getting at.

Everyone has their reasons for opinions, but if you really think advertising "MAC vs. CUSA" is better than "MAC vs. Big 10" and getting a "MAC vs. CUSA" matchup in the end... then I want to share your hookah.

Yeah no kidding, give me some that stuff too! 1st off Pitt isnt in the Big 10 and it sounds like you were assuming that... and you think most people dont know Purdue, Indiana, and NW are in the big 10? are you serious? up until last year Purdue has gone to 8 bowl games in a row, NW has made it to a couple in a row and it hasnt been that long since Darnell Autry and their Rose Bowl win, and well IU is still rebuilding in football with Terry Hep. but how about their basketball tradition? Firing their coach cause they only made it to the final 32!!!! ...and lost to Maryland in the national champ. not too long ago. If IU earned the right to go, I would rather play them that any CUSA school, and anyone in the LittleE minus WVU,UL, and maybe Pitt cause they have great programs!
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

Sorry I was bouting with a sleep issue and rewatching the superbowl and the Road to the superbowl on Tivo, so that is how i must have droped Pitt in there... stranger things have and do happen.
But if you think playing the bottom half...or 1/4 as it nearly amounts to from the bigtleven is good, then your a believer in the BCS system is my point..in that a MAC school is only worthy of the s**t left overs after the big dog eats. TRUE
its crap
the MAC was beyond stupid when taking that "would you mind picking up my for me, ploy" and one match up...that we won no less is proof of that. And further proof there are way to many bowls and that bowls have become the PC celebration of having been out there, instead of bouts to determin champions and championships. If you cant see that, then yer blind and should be saying you watch game for the officals...

Its sure a lot better to advertise what folks will see more than once a decade...if you bought a honda at a honda dealer..and as your driving home you notice its KIa youll be a little pissed I would think....

and pitting a # 1 or 2 school is way better than 7 or 8...
Come on ouot and see your mac champs play the 8th out 11 teams from the big ten....

fyi non bcs cons get s**t on perpetually thanks to people who thinks it great.

When did we ever say anything out the BCS or shoveling someone elses sh*t? I'm just saying I want the MAC to play the better football team in the bowl games. Yes, that means Purdue, Minnesota, MSU and Northwestern normally have a better team than Tulsa, Memphis, Central Florida, or Southern Miss. I don't consider that to mean that I'm backing the BCS or picking up someone else's sh*t for them. They are the better team, they deserve to go. The thing I don't like about the BCS is that the HUMAN polls screw over the mid-majors, because people who vote don't ever watch one MAC team play, so they just assume that they are worse, which isn't always the case! I have heard Joe Tiller, PU's head coach say that he DOESN'T like voting because he is so insanely busy with the football team that he does not have time to sit down and watch 50+ football games every week and accurately gauge how good everyone is. He said that he just tries his best based on the teams PU has already played and the games he did get to watch (which admittedly was not very many).

With 6-6 good enough for a bowl game, I think the Motor City Bowl is more likely to have a shot at a Big Ten team, which is good for the MAC.

I know they could make all 11 members avail for bowls...they are the big ten.....that would be great for us...lol

wouldnt it be interesting if the big tenleven allowed the mac champ to move into the 11 spot in place of the Big ten school that finished 11, and if that MAC school finished above 500 they got to stay and if 11 school finished below 500 inthe mac they had to stay inthe mac.....
