Thats slightly better, but still horrid. I see 6 teams on our schedule listed below us and Ohio is practically the same as us. How is a team that can win 7 games with no true upsets the 96th best team in the nation? Doesnt add up to me!
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!
The thing we have to keep in mind is, these are all just predictions. Last year, everyone picked us to win it all and we were all happy. If someone would have picked us to go 6-5 overall, 5-3 in the MAC and just 1-3 at home vs. MAC schools, we'd have blown our tops. As far fetched as that prediction would have seemed, it would have been correct. Our past success isn't going to win us a single game this year. We are in a rebuilding mode of sorts and if we went 6-5 with the squad we had last year, we're likely certain to have to dig even deeper this season to surpass that. We'll be better than these predictions of 4th in the MAC East and around the 100th best team in the land if we improve our overall play and execute well on both sides of the ball and in special teams. But if we fall into the same pattern as we did last season, I venture to say this predictions will hold up when we look back at them at the end of the year.BGSUFootballFan wrote:Thats slightly better, but still horrid. There is no way we will finish the year as the 96th or 103rd best team in the nation. We had an AWFUL year last year, major disappointment and finished 6-5 with 2 losses on the road to Top 25 teams. I'm really going to stick my neck out here and say will manage to break the top 95 this year!
