The Fever is building....

Post by Falconfreak90 »

Falconitis has me under the weather again. I've been watching game tapes from last year for the last 3 nights. Last night was the 1st half of the Kent State game. :-D

94 days, 1 hour and 44 minutes til kickoff....

FALCON FOOTBALL....the ultimate game.

Ahh yes, the Kent game. Good times were had. Due to financial constraints, my roomates and I did NOT take the trip to the game, but we did manage to work our way over to Frickers to help celebrate their 20th anniversary. Can anyone say "25 cent beers?" Uh... I did. Many, many times. Following that, we stumbled over to the Ice Arena for the hockey game that night (UNO I believe). Good times.

One of my fav. college football plays of all time happens during that Kent St. game! When Turner takes the snap from shotgun, pump fakes the quick screen pass and runs right up the middle for 20 and change! Gotta love it! :D
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

I'm catching that fever as well.

Betsy and I were just going over the schedule to see what games would work best for us to get back to. Can't wait to put the plans in stone!

It will be great to get back to a game or two!

Can't wait to see you guys get back, DD. Let us know when you find out so we can hook up! Hope all is well in SC!

The Kent game at the Doyt....I won't be able to tailgate for that one since my class reunion is that weekend. I will be driving to Dover Friday night for the Dover game...our class is getting together to tailgate before the game and then we have a whole section of the stadium reserved for us. I'll be spending the night in Dover and then driving to BG the next day for the 1pm kickoff. As soon as the BG game is over, I will drive back to Dover for the actual reunion. Man, that is gonna be one busy weekend. I told my HS friend if the Kent game is 4pm or after, I won't be at the reunion. But it's a 1pm kickoff so I can do both.

June 1st...yeah, football season is getting so close ya can taste it!!

GO FALCONS!!

I wonder if he would have anything to say about the cowbells that Kent State fans are known to ring incessantly at baseball games?
