Post by falconman »

Was just over on Miami Hawktalk, these are awesome ideas to get fans to the game. Now only if we had a marketing dept. (ducking)

So far I've only watched the first one...that was awesome. Doesn't look like it's too hard to produce.

Just watched the second one. This is a great way of getting the students involved in the action. Good job Miami marketing.

Too bad the mascot looks like a tool.

Do we do any advertising at all? Every day in the Blade, UT has a decent size ad about their next home game. I have never seen a BG ad in the paper. Or how about on the radio? How about putting something on all the stations in the Falcon Sports Radio network? Would it be that hard or expensive? And here is my best idea: how about advertising in Columbus this year, something about coming to BG to see the best college team in OH? Seriously, we could do something fun with it. It wouldn't have to be a slap in their face, more of a poke in the ribs that would be humorous. I really think we need to capitilize on this while the buckeyes are struggling.

Like any MAC's athletic department... their favorite song Pink Floyd's 'Money'

$how me the money, and I can make anything happen.
