The only thing that matters is the point spread....then it might be worth rooting for Toledo to do something. Straight up...then obviously you'd be looking at a pretty historic upset.

Bets and office pools ruin rivalaries, but thanks for the GMAC win last Dec!

I hate saying this, but I would go for OSU, for the simple fact that if Toledo beat them, we would never hear the end of it
So just beat OSU this fall and then you can cheer for us in 2009. :-D

Go Toledo. I root for all MAC teams OOC...ESPECIALLY when they play Columbus.
You must root for the MAC when ever they play an OCC game, no matter how much yo disllike them, or int he case of some team wonder what they are doing in D1....gag we will all be pulling for temple soon...I can not believe it...I realy hope the MAC just drops them...but that is doubtful.

Can't we just hope for a miracle and say that by that time both schools are under so many NCAA sanctions that neither can field a whole team! That is a win-win in my book!

You misspelled "NONE".

I would be shocked if that game doesn't sell out. I'd also be shocked if it isn't 95+% OSU fans.
Stadium seats 70,000. 95% of that is 66,500. I'm thinking out of our 50,000 ticket allotment we'll get at least 3,600 wearing the Midnight Blue and Gold. At least you'll have time to prepare for your shock. :D

i'm thinking that out of your 50,000 seat allotment, 49,000 will be sold to buckeye fans, if not firsthand, then on the secondary market.

Great deal for UT! Congrats for getting the Buck$ to actually leave Columbus. Now I know the end of the world is near.

Who to root for? Neither. Seriously, UT is a MAC school and, as much as I despise UT, I have to root for them...being a huge fan of the MAC.

Besides, if UT beats OSU, BG will look that much better if we beat them later in the year. :-D

Again, great deal for the Rockets...

from today's PD...

For just the second time in 65 years, Cleveland will play home to Ohio State football when the Buckeyes meet Toledo on Sept. 19, 2009. The Rockets are technically the home team, but Cleveland Browns Stadium should be filled with scarlet and gray.

"That's an away game with a home crowd," said Bob Sevel of the OSU Alumni Club of Greater Cleveland. "It's a good opportunity for people who might not be able to get to Columbus."
