Potential Paluch Replacements

MACMAN
There are alot of people who are going to being singing him praises and saying...i knew he was good...blagh blagh after this season.
Hes a good coach, a good recruiter and taking this team back up...yea this season sucked, but sometimes you need to hit rock bottom to finsh your climb to the top.
Remember its not his fault the team got so shitty, its Powers fault, the jack ass who keept him around so long.
I am betting life is goning to be real sweet this season. and seasons to come.
The coach hoping deal would be a huge mistake right now and always is, he needs this season and next..then if he still has not done it...maybe, but I doubt it will come to that.

Just so you know, credibility around here is based on you spelling ability and your ability to capitalize your sentenses after periods. Just wanted to give you a heads up, because they get pretty upset if you are lacking in either area.
Also, I am asking this question because I do not know the answer, does Paluch have a better record at BG than Powers did? At least a better winning percentage? You seem to be very anti-Powers, so I am guessing that you know the answer.

Going into last season, Paluch's winning percentage was .391 and Powers ended with a .477 winning percentage. Those were from the media guide prior to last season.ShaneFalco wrote:Also, I am asking this question because I do not know the answer, does Paluch have a better record at BG than Powers did? Based on that, I believe that we are left with no other option, but to fire Paluch and hire Urban Meyer, with assistants Jim Larranaga, Keith McLeod, and Rob Blake.

It would be better to look at season by season comparisons. Buddy had awesome teams his first two years and almost went to the NCAAs.BGGrad01 wrote: Going into last season, Paluch's winning percentage was .391 and Powers ended with a .477 winning percentage. Buddy also had a very nicely set table from the York years.pdt1081 wrote:It would be better to look at season by season comparisons. 75% of coaching is recruiting. As was stated earlier, Buddy came in with a LOT of talent already on the team. Paluch, on the other hand, has been working from the ground up which is a much more difficult thing to do. Buddy is a great guy, but the last several years under him were agonizing because we simply did not have much talent on the team.ShaneFalco wrote:MACMAN -

Last year there was little or no leadership on the ice with a lot of venom coming from those team members who should have been leaders (aka, Buddy's last recruits). This, IMO, lead to the season we ended up with. No real effort from the supposed leaders who were very vocal in their opinions but lousy on the ice made for a long season.

And this is exactly why we will fare much better this season. We've gotten rid of *perceived potential issues* who were simply taking ice time from the talented players, and now we can see the true talent on our team come to fruition. It is going to be a fun year!BGFan wrote: No real effort from the supposed leaders who were very vocal in their opinions but lousy on the ice made for a long season.

i dont want to reign on everyone's parade but you guys have to stop living in your fantasy world. guys that were seniors last year were not garbage. not even close. you people just dont understand what this sport is all about. there has been more than enough talent on this team to win over the last four years. the coaches never knew how to make it all come together and work. it is not the players. all the players work their ass off. more than any other team in the conference, especially all that guys that have graduated over the past four years. the talent has been their from the players end it is just not their from the coaches end. sorry but that is the reality. stop kidding yourselves. im a falcon fan for life but i do not lie to myself and say things are great when i know dam well that they are not and never will be under this coaching staff.
