No way, the track around the field means the first row at UBuff is pretty darn far away from the action.

Exaclty. But, if you take the stands themselves? They are sweet.

Agreed all around. Our sightlines are better, but UB has a nice stadium. Much more modern.

If I wanted to be a hundred yards from the action I'd watch a game from the last row of Michigan Stadium....

The girlfriend and I just paid a visit to good old BG yesterday so I could finally get my tattoo done, I took the liberty of stopping by the stadium to shoot a few photographs from a little more up close and personal point of view, enjoy!

Hey Niz -- where are the new railings at the Doyt? I think that looks pretty classy. Are they going all around the stadium or just by the enttrances or what?

The new strength upgrades look nice, but I wonder if they are worth it since that stuff is presumably moving into the SEBO Center right?

The new railings are lining where the stands meet the sidelines, I guess I should have gotten a picture not quite so up close. They look really sharp though, they've been there since the spring game actually.

It looks like they are doing tons of cosmetic surgery with little things here and there. I was pretty confused about the new strength training facility though, with the Sebo so close that we can taste I wonder why they would decided to pop that in there right now. It looks really sharp though having that new block of orange out there. I was just telling some freinds earlier this year how it would be totally wicked to have the entire underside of the stadium painted brown and orange, so when I saw that I about jumped out of my pants I was so excited.

How much of the wall is painted orange? Just what is in the picture? More?

That has been there for a year or two. They need somewhere to work out.

It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

The weight room there was added when the stadium was renovated in the late 80s/ early 90s I believe. They painted it orange prior to this season, it is not a new weight room, you probably just never noticed it until it was painted.
