Best Field EVER!

Post by Bleeding Orange »

Heh.

I was doing an image search for other, totally unrelated, nefarious purposes, and came across this picture:

Image

Damn is that a beaut!

But the site it was linked to was this one:

http://www.ostma.org/awards.htm

Did anyone know that we have the best athletic field in the state of Ohio? Better than the Browns! Indians! Reds! Buckeyes! Awesome.

Thanks, and I was just thinking the same thing about the background issue!

Our ground crew has always been top notch. I believe Cygnet Turf (who has done many, many stadiums pro and otherwise) laid it down. We were one of their first customers if memory serves.

It'll be a tragedy if we ever go to artificial turf.

I would be dissapointed if we ever went to turf. Although I think it looks very nice (especially on TV), it just would not fit in at the Doyt. I can't see us getting turf in the forseeable future because I can think of 100 different things I would do with $400k instead of getting field turf.

Well, I suppose that some would consider the updated logo to be porn, so, yeah, we'll go with porn search.

That field does look nice! Imagine if the rest of the actual stadium matched the greatness of the field.

falconboy...as an exercise in positive thinking, I'd like for you to say something nice about BGSU, BGSU athletics or any combination thereof without including a negative sentiment.

For example, simply say "yeah, that field sure does look nice" and leave it at that.

fb,

Wait until the Sebo Center is completed. The Doyt is gonna rock and with that north end all but enclosed, there will be a big time feel to the place.
