Pittsburgh played at the Doyt in 2000...in front of 11,000 fans. We hosted Missouri in 2002.

Ohio's Stadium is about 24,000 and they've hosted Pitt, Minnesota, Iowa State and a few others.

Ball State is 22,000 and they hosted Boston College 2 years ago.

The Doyt is currently about 24K...

Yeah, I was just thinking of that too. I'm not saying haveing a kick-butt 40k+ seat stadium would get us Ohio St. at home but it could likely give us a better chance of getting a Wisky or Iowa or Northwestern or other mid-level B10 or B12 and other BCS confernce teams in our stadium.

Keep in m ind that we have had Pittsburgh at the Doyt a few times in recent years and that Minnesota coming to the Doyt is far more impressive than Northwestern. As far as I know there is no clause in the Minnesota contract that says in order for them to come here we must have a 40K seat stadium.

That's good because there is NO FREAKING WAY my crew could add 16,000 seats in time for the Minnie game!
Can we fix it?

Yes we can!

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Wow, that does look good. The university bought a bunch of grass seed from my dad last fall and I know he's been involved in this project for a while now. I'll have to tell him he did an awesome job next time I see him. It looks awesome!!
