BG has never had a 33 game home winning streak. From 2002 thru the Ohio game of 2005, BG won roughly 20 straight regular season games.[/quote]

You are right my friend. It was exactly 20 games. Not sure where that 33 I got in my head came from... maybe playing with Pope too much on the video game!
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

It's cool, bro. Imagine if BG did win 33 straight!!! That would be roughly 6-7 years without a home loss. NOBODY does that. Pope...gonna miss that dude BiG time.

When this babe was around we had the breast home field advantage.

NIU is by far the hardest place to go to as a fan, and surely a team. Obnoxious, yes, but on the other hand, it works. In 2002, when Urban left the whole team's brain on the bus, and in 2005 when Wolff first showed everyone what he could do it was absolutely miserable!!! I hate DickScab, Illinois with everybone in my body.

They win my vote!

Who is that girl posted above? Nice one, I never noticed a sideline reporter for BG.

Either way, DeKalb is a cluster f to deal with logistically. Literally, if you can't get one of the hotels close to campus it basically ruins the trip. We had a 15 minute drive across multiple streets on the way too and from the stadium. Additionally if you are on that side of town that we were, you have such great local eateries such as Burger King to choose from. We had a Matress Mart on one side of us, and a highway on the other side of us. I'll go back for sure because the atmosphere at the game was great, and the BG fans that we traveled with were fantastic, but I'll try and get something across from the basketball arena next time.

I'm looking forward to hitting the road and seeing the team this year. I keep thinking it's going to be Central that I head out to. I've been to OU way to many times to make that a roady.

Despite all the comments about NIU, it is hard for me to give them my vote. Toledo is 4-0 at NIU since they returned to the MAC, and the guys that do the Huskie Mobile Bus are pretty cool to us UT fans.

To be honest, I don't think there is a MAC stadium that is intimidating. They're just too small and not that obnoxious.......now that Marshall is gone. :P

I have to go with who wins at home. Toledo, Bowling Green, and Miami University are probably slightly ahead of Northern Illinois in the win column at home. They would be the top four.

Toledo is just 16-14 on the road and 34-2 at home since mid-way through the 1999 season. Not very good on the road, but excellent at home. I think BG has a similar home record from 2001 to the present. Miami is pretty darn good too. NIU has had some big wins at home, but also some bad losses. Since 2000 they have lost at home to Toledo three times, they lost to Western Illinois, they lost to Ball State, and a few others.
