Gee, that might have something to do with their level of talent and Paluch's desire to produce a decent hockey team. Ever think of that?tnelly7 wrote:Also, out of the seven seniors, two were goalies and the other three out of the five were on the power play and top guys for us.
You really think so? Ever see "flashes of greatness" out of them followed by weeks of mediocrity? I really don't want to bad mouth them, but I call things as I see them. There has been so much talent the past few years that hasn't shown. Many guys have come into BG with great expectations and produced nothing. Why? Is it because they didn't have the talent? Or because the team didn't have the depth to push them to perform 60 minutes a game, every game?tnelly7 wrote: They may have not been true 'Yzerman' leaders but they definitely gave it their all day in a day out, especially Morrison, who is now on his way to Philadelphia on a AHL contract. These guys gave it their all for four years ...
The past few years BG has had small teams (numbers wise). Very few guys have been watching the games from the stands. With the amount of players coming in next season, and the talent that will be available, the players will not have the option of taking shifts off during games like they have the past few years. They will know that there is an equally capable player sitting in the stands just waiting to take their spot in the lineup.
