Gimme a break. I, to some extent, understand the argument that student athletes are ambassadors for a given institution. So, why not set suggested guidelines, and deal with offenders rather than making everyone stop using it.

I agree with the decision. Athletes should be able to troll for their own skanks around campus without needing Facebook's help.

I have to agree with the First Amendment argument here, for the most part. I absolutely support the fact that they represent the Uni, but the Uni does not have the right to make them shut down.

Well, playing a sport is a privilege and not a right protected by the Constitution.
You can either agree to abide by the rule or establish a Facebook account and go elsewhere to school. The students agree to abide by the university rules and regulations, not the other way around.
