Yeah we are gonna have a rocking and new and improved student section this year. The plan is to have me and the Niz meet up with the coaches once we start school back up and then hopefully set up a meeting sometime in September or early October that will be open to all students and we'll have some food to get the kids there and toss some ideas around. We'll explain our vision to the students, have Paluch and maybe some players say a few words, and maybe have a couple of the fans from the old days to come in and talk about what it was like. I'm hoping we can have a name the section contest online or through the BG News or on campus and then we will come up with a logo and get some t-shirts printed up. There is a possibilty it may become a student university organization so we can get some money. I'll have to turn in an application for that, we'll see. But I know the coaches are behind us, as is the marketing department and I'm gonna try my hardest to bring back the traditions along with some new stuff and make the Ice Arena a rockin' rink! Hopefully we can get a write up in the BG News and get a buzz going for the unvieling of the new BG Hockey Student Section in October on Friday the 13th  (does that scream bleacher creatures or what?) against UCONN!!!

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Do you guys think you could get a photographer in to take pictures of the recent Arena additions?

You really need to come in and see the new boards and glass in person. Pictures just don't convey how nice they look!! I could take pics, but I really have NO CLUE how to post them.

Hey FF, when you E-mail the pictures to Tony, just label them "NOT PORN" so that he can find them easily after he downloads them.

I love Falcon hockey and all, but come on I'd rather here profane remarks than hear nothing at all. I went to the Kohl Center this year and had to hear the chant of of "Kessel is an assbag" its the generation we cant resort to the same methods of old. I don't think the students realize what BG hockey was. People go to the OSU games to cheer on the bucks and go to the UM games to cheer on the Maize and Blue. I say we steal a time machine and make a team with Kenny Morrow, Rob Blake, Mike Liut, Nelson Emerson, George McPhee, Brian Holzinger...just a thought

The university anounced that they will repair the timemachine once the new parking garage is built..and it has room for Evas P. Brian MaC, Gino Cavalilni, Mike DAvid
and all three Newton Brothers, if Paul Titanic Drives
