Didn't we have a Kentucky transfer for a year during Urban's first year? Guy put up some pretty good numbers if I recall. Him and Joe Alls in the backfield was a good tandem.

DD,
I think the player you're referring to is Martez Johnson. He was with the team in 2002 and scored a TD in the 63-21 pasting of EMU home finale. I remember it being a bit chilly that night. ;-)

Haw was a redshirt freshman last year with three years of eligibility left. He has size and speed - ran a 4.21 40. He has less baggage than Cory Dillon did in college (just for baggage comparison). Haw could be a bust, but he has the potential to be a 1,000 yd. rusher for many teams. I hope he considers BG. I think rules state that colleges can not contact potential transfers.

he is going to go somewhere where he can play right away which means he will be out of division 1 a. he won't want to go anywhere where he has to sit an entire year.

I think there have been TWO people saying they "want him to play for BG". I think we have plenty of talent at RB, and don't need to mess around with anyone bring that kind of baggage, whether they came from OSU or Texas or Tiffin.

i'm glad that you are against it atleast.. i was against haw comming back in the first place after he was charged but there is nothing i can do about it. atleast he never received a real shot and is leaving now because of it.

pittman and wells will be more than enough for teams to handle this year. Thought Clarrett was good for the 1 year he played? wait until you see this kid.

Meh.

I was talking about Thomas and Macon.

funny since you, and many other were flaming OSU for letting a kicker try out for the team after he was arrested for drugs few months ago.

Why don't you do a search for the "Turner Gets Arrested" thread and see our views on kids getting busted with pot.

He should tear it up down at JSU. He was not a project by any means, this was a kid that rushed for 3000+ yards his senior year and nearly won Mr. Football (Top 3 or 4 I believe).

He ran a 4.21 (obviously hand-timed) at OSU and played well during the chances he had (certainly better than Maurice Wells).

Would have loved to see him at BGSU Sorry I don't think a kid getting busted for smoking pot once, which is much less severe than an underage alcohol offense in Ohio, is that big of a deal.

He would have fit in great here with the BG offense, IMO.
