Yes TG! I've been watching that clock count down for some time now. Check it every day just to see it one day less. LOL!! Thanks again.TG1996 wrote:Not only is the countdown clock updated at BGSUsports.com, but now you all can be just like Freak with this handy desktop countdown application! Yeah, it's an .exe, and everything you've come to know about computers probably tells you not to open it, but it's from me, and Freak's had one for months now and apparently *his* computer still works!
Anyway... http://www.bgsusports.com/wisky06.exe ...if you're interested.
As for the game... God help my liver.
I can't wait for Sept 2nd. 57 days, 12 hours, 57 min and 30 sec. See how well that works???

OSU's national title hopes won't be around when BG invades the Shoe. I don't care what the "experts" are saying about the Buck$...I see potential losses at Texas, Penn State and at Iowa....especially Iowa. They open with NIU who could surprise them as well.Columbus_Zak wrote:WBNS is going to cover the game so that fckeye fans can watch the team that is going to shock the world, and end national title hopes come October.
They actually have to leave the Shoe 5 games outta 12 this year. Imagine that. And they don't start the season with 5 straight home games this year either.

Pretty sure that last year the UK Florida game had a time already set. It was then changed so that it would be on TV. It has been done.BGSUVA wrote:I know teams announce starting times 2 weeks before a game, but usually they were TBA before hand, not a set time...I haven't seen them just change it like thatPGY Tiercel wrote: 1: Many schools change start dates for games. It is very unlikely that NIU (or PSU for that matter) will win in Columbus. Iowa will be overrated again and won't beat OSU. Winning at Texas will be difficult, but I think the experience at quarterback for OSU and the lack of experience at quarterback for Texas will be an important factor in an OSU victory.Falconfreak90 wrote:OSU's national title hopes won't be around when BG invades the Shoe. Sure thing.guest44 wrote:Now that's an objective opinion! Iowa will be overrated. The Texas quarterback will play horrible. Ohio St. will win every game and roll to a National Championship. lol Get a grip blowhards, it's a long season.

No, I don't think OSU is overrated. The Heisman is Troy Smith's to loose!! I hate when BG and OSU play each other, stinks. Let the chips fall as they will on October 7th. I truly think Ohio State will roll again into the Nat'l Championship this year and if they do, I am there! GO BG AND OHIO STATE! I think I will leave the country on the 7th so I don't have to think about that game!!
To get this back to a BG-related topic........does anybody familiar with downtown Cleveland parking know what it is going to be like on gameday trying to find a spot? With the air show going on, I would imagine that some of the typical Browns game parking will be taken. I'm sure there will still be plenty of parking, but I would like to end up in the best tailgate lot. Thanks in advance for any info.
I always tailgate at the muni lot, right off the shoreway. I have yet to decide on a hotel, so I'm not sure where I'll be staying/tailgating for this game.
There are quite a few tailgating lots that have good parties going on for Browns games, but I'm with you in that I'm not sure how the airshow will effect this.

My suggestion for a lot to tailgate in might be the lot down the hill, next to the rr tracks on the West side of Brown's stadium. It is down pretty far from the airport so I don't think that should be a problem there. As far as hotels, we have a suite at the Holiday Inn Express Suites downtown, close to Jacobs field. You might try there...
I'm guessing that the Muni lot will be full of Burke parkers. I think I better bet would be farther west (past West 3rd) near the Port of Cleveland.hammb wrote:I always tailgate at the muni lot, right off the shoreway. Me and a few other people I know are at the holiday inn express on Euclid about a mile from Browns Stadium. I'm pretty much just going to walk from the hotel to the game looking for the most orange I can find.BG fan in Toledo wrote:My suggestion for a lot to tailgate in might be the lot down the hill, next to the rr tracks on the West side of Brown's stadium.
