Thats about all anyone can leave BGSU with. Thats why I am going to grad school at OSU in fall quarter. To improve that comprehension level and leave all of you way behind.

Not quite, I was not quiet. I was not posting on this board yet at that time, so you didnt experience it but i was just as vocal and high on them right after the loss as I was before the game, and as I am now. I know a lot of people who were. They acknowledged the fact that it was not the best game or even maybe the best year but we knew we would get better, finish strong, beat UM and win the bowl game.

What happened in the end of the season? I believe thats the year they ended up putting a QB by the name of Troy Smith in as the starter for the last 4 games or so. I believe they humiliated UM and totally beat down Oklahoma State.

Now they are pre season # 1 Troy is a legit heisman candidate but is not the favorite since this will be his first year as a starter for the entire season. The fans who didnt stay quiet after that loss are going to have even more reason to go nuts this year. Get passed NIU, Texas and an over rated Iowa and it is smooth sailing from there.

Preseason #1 with only 9 starters coming back....sure. I know most of the media are on this Buck$ hype bandwagon but I see OSU losing at least 3 games this year. I hear all this stuff about how good the D will be despite losing 9 starters. Garrett Wolfe and NIU will test your D right outta the gate. That team can RUN the ball. I don't see you winning in Austin and why some think Iowa is overrated is beyond me. The Hawkeyes will be a contender in 2006 and OSU must travel to Kinnick Stadium. Smooth sailing after that? Maybe the Big 11 ain't so tough, then? I still think BGSU will play the Buck$ pretty tough...we always do. Preseason #1...there's only one way to go from there.

Go on and talk about how your offense will blow everyone outta the water. We got used to that at BG and found out the hard way ya kinda need a defense and special teams (granted, OSU has very good special teams).

The spring game? I don't follow the Buck$ so I don't know what happened in their spring game. If the D was soooooo good, does that mean your offense will suck? And how does OSU, who lost NINE starters off their D (many whom were drafted in the first 2 rounds) gotten a lot (ALOT is not an actual word, BTW) better? You mean to tell me the new players are better than guys like Hawk, Schlegle (sp?), Carpenter, Whitner and the others? Why weren't they in the starting lineup last year? I don't care how good their potential is it's gonna take some time to gel...just like the BG offense for 2006.

You may think Iowa will be overrated but I don't. The Hawkeyes will be 4-0 when the Buck$ travel to Kinnick. Tell me what the scene will be like that day. I guarantee Kirk Ferentz will have that team ready for revenge. That crowd will be nuts and that's a difficult place to win.

As far as UM? Yes, OSU has had the better of this series the last 5 years. Each year is different, however, and the Wolverines will be ready to play that day. UM hasn't lost 3 straight to the Buck$ since 1961-63.

The transcripts would just prove that I had a 3.5 GPA while attending.

No it does not mean the defense will be good and the offense will suck..This is a team like Tressel has never had before. The offense will be stellar, and the D will be terrific.

And no I am not saying the D will be better than last year. I am saying they are every bit as athletic, they are faster, but they are not as experienced. That is where they will lag behind from last years team, but every game into the season they become more and more experienced. So what I am saying is, by the end of the year this very young very good D will be just as good as last years, and I am saying that at the beginning of the following year, they will be better than last years defense.

Why werent the current players starters last year if they are so good? Because when you have talent like that who are freshman and you have capable players on the team with experience, you redshirt the freshman and they keep four years of eligibility. They can get better while practicing and then be ready to step up the next year. This is the case for several of them most notable, Jamario O'Neal. He would have started over Youbouty (who I thought sucked anyways) easily. He is also like Ginn, and could go both ways as a WR/safety/CB but they wont need him on Offense.


I will grant your wish out of this conversation. I do have all of the answers but you have made it easy for me. I am glad you were able to take my points as I presented them and ask questions for clarification.
