The Falcons Web site has a great feature of recorded video from practice. You can watch the wide receivers or the 11-on-11 drills and watch Cole. The Real Player video works well if you download the software.

Cole had a couple of nice catches in the Saturday practice. Vick is throwing to him and he seems to throw Cole's way a lot. Lets hope he sticks this year.

I think cole looks really quick off the ball but still doesn't have the downfield speed. To me it looks like finnerann is the slowest piece of garbage I've ever seen.

I saw a SportsCenter segment this weekend about Atlanta. I guess the coaching staff visited the campuses of Florida, Texas, and West Virginia to learn more about the spread offense. I guess they are going to experiment with it this season in an effort to make Vick more dangerous. If this is the case, Magner and Redd might have a little better shot to stick around since they both have experience with our spread.

They're both still longshots, but every little edge counts. The Falcons are dangerously thin at WR after losing Finneran for the season.
