Behind Akron and Miami(OH), a bit ahead of "Roofie Frank" and the Bobcats.

I think we'll have a similar repeat of last year. The West is much stronger than the East is this year, and thankfully besides the annual Toledo game, BG doesn't play any tough West opponents. Not being a homer, but I think BG can win their games against Central and Eastern. I have a feeling Akron's gonna be average this year...their hype from last year is not necessarily a good thing (see BG last year).
It'll be an interesting season for sure, but I only see BG as the team in the East who has the most to gain. Ohio may put up a good fight, but I really feel good about our chances of taking the East this year.

The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.
i wouldn't be so certain it's reputation alone. last year we had 16 seniors in the starting lineup, and by most accounts, 7-4 was unacceptable (a poor season) so losing those players seems like less of a blow than i might ordinarily suggest. we're led to believe the recruiting of the past few years has been outstanding and there's little doubt the offensive skill positions including wr and rb are loaded. should be interesting. i think the east is wide open and i'm certain the miami/bg game at the doyt will feature a revenge factor after last year's beat down. regardless, i think this year will be pretty exciting across the division and the conference.Falconfreak90 wrote:Fine with me. Miami is definitely living on their reputation....they have a total of 6 starters back this year and must travel to Akron and BGSU.
I'll say it again...the East will come down to BG and the Zips.
