Billboards in Cleveland

Post by jacojdm »

On my way home from work yesterday, I saw two billboards promoting the game in Cleveland, including one about three blocks from my house. I work in Westlake and live in the West Park neighborhood of Cleveland. I took some photos with my camera, but they turned out kind of dark. I'll head out this afternoon and get a snapshot.
Has anyone else in greater Cleveland seen billboards around town?

I believe the billboard that you are referring to can be seen in spart's signature section.

Where do you work at in Westlake? Was one of the billboards in Westlake?

No. Both billboards that I saw are in Cleveland.

There are a number of "Clash" billboards up in the Cleveland market and some radio spots are also running for the game in that market.

Now's the time to encourage friends and associates to get their tickets. This will be a nice evening on the lake and around downtown. I hear the pregame Alumni tailgate event has had quite a few takers. I will be at that one, the game (of course) and the House of Blues. If we can pull out a win, I may be on stage singing the blues for/to Barry Alvarez and their new head man.

Go Falcons!

Since we are planning on being at the House of Blues too, I will look forward to seeing you singing on stage!!! :-D

fanatic, after our victory and an obligatory reprise of my 1984 rendition of "We are the Champions" in Lake Placid, I will likely go to one of my blues standards at the H of B.

Probably "Dust My Broom" or "Fancy Man Blues".

Get your tickets early.

For the game.

Go Falcons!

The one in my signature is the one located on I-75 just north of campus.

Come on now, Corey only got caught holding once last season....lol.....

I know what you meant. Just joking around.

I am not in BG, I live just outside of Cincinnati, so I depend on Corey's uncle for pictures, he lives in BG and goes to the university. I will check with him and see if he has gotten out there. They generally don't like you taking pictures during camp, but we can get some exceptions every once in awhile.

Corey hasn't mentioned anything lately about holding. Corey may not be the holder for this season. Like last year he will most likely be the backup holder. I know on Saturday he got dehydrated and was very dizzy all evening. I could not get ahold of him last night to find out how he was feeling. So I hope he is keeping up with his fluids. The weather should be pretty good this week, not as hot as it has been so maybe things will go well.

My other son, Austin, just left for football camp at Marietta College. He will be playing WR for them this year. He has had some ankle problems that kept him out of football his senior year, so he has not had the opportunity to show his talent. He is a good athlete, but has been slowed for the last two years with ankle problems. Hopefully we have those out of the way.

Can't wait to get up to camp and watch some practice. Photo day and intersquad scrimmage will be great. September 2nd is so close.......

Thanks for the reply. Sean has told me that Corey is doing all of the holding. Sean really likes the job he is doing! So if that 'chemistry' is there between Kyle, Corey and Sean, then I would expect that it would continue.

When is picture day/intrasquad scrimmage?

Thanks!

I've seen the West Park billboard; there's also one on Carnegie heading west into downtown. They look good; when I saw the West Park one I was going to come here and ask if that's a BG thing or if that's a Cleveland Browns Stadium thing?

Does the stadium/Browns have anything to do with the marketing in Cleveland I wonder?

The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, I would assume, has something to do with the marketing.
