Former Falcon Footballers Cross Graduation Stage Today

Post by falconfan1 »

Great to see Keon Newson, Joe Timchenko and Marlon Burt get their diplomas today. Wonderful to see these fellows hang in there and/or return to complete this important previously unfinished business. I will also use the football forum (sorry) to add that hockey players Sitko, Horrell, Carper and Brian Holzinger all graduated. Also proudly walking across the satge was former BB player Steven Wright with Stefanie Wenzel receiving her Masters. VB star Emily Manser also graduated- with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Sorry to crowd all the graduation news into one forum. I likely missed a player or two I am sure.

Go Falcons!

Steve Wright graduating...He's now released from the university and can transfer to any D-I school in the country and not sit our a year.

That's all I'm saying now :-#

Thanks for the update and congrats to all the athletes who graduated!!

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Yes. Doesn't mean he's still there.

Are you saying he is going somewhere else now? Toledo perhaps? :o
